We are running low on current supply of 2020 honey. 2020 honey is raw and is starting to granulate. We do not heat the honey after it has been bottled up, so there is a good chance that ordering honey from October on, will be granulated.
We intentionally package in glass for two reasons. First, the jars are not single-use plastic, and second, so that the honey can be gently heated in a hot water bath if a liquid honey is desired. There is nothing wrong with granulated honey and honestly, I prefer it granulated. It is a natural process almost all honeys go through eventually, depending on the nectar sources that go into that batch of honey.
